will a gtx 480 fit in my case

Hi ,
i currently have a bfg gtx275 fitted in my antec 300 case which is a bit of a tight fit , now i'm looking at getting a POV GTX480 , i've looked around the tinternet and can't find any sizes listed for the GTX480 , does anybody have one or know of the size differnece between the two cards ? dont really want to upgrade my case as well at the moment

480s and 275s are both 10.5 inches long according to NVIDIA - click the specification's tab, here and here.

As a side note, this question pops up again and again, for any amount of case/card combinations, and Googling doesn't always reveal the answer. So, would there be any interest in a thread listing card lengths and available space in specific cases?? Just a thought!

480gtx isnt any bigger that 275gtx so it should fit no probs?
The real question is if this eol toaster will run on your psu?
And have u got enough airflow to keep it cool.

my psu is a modular tagan 480 , think that will be good enough or will i need something new ?

Might need a tad more on the psu front.

It will fit 480 is actually slightly smaller than a GTX260/275 by a few mm's.

Definitely; when I got my GTX280 I had to remove one of my Chieftec Dragon HD cages so now it is just sat loose in the bottom of the case.
