Which is the better performer?
 
If you look at that review I linked to (use the drop-down menu to see performance in other games) you will find that the 5850 is generally as fast or faster than the 6850/GTX 460 1GB and it costs less.
 
It is a great deal mate, but unfortunately, they have no stock.

Have you ever heard anything about ATI cards not performing as well as Nvidia with FSX cloud animations and the like?
 
Aye, its a pre-order offer - the cards arrive in on Chrismas eve, they usually cost £50 more.

Ah, as you will be playing FSX I hear that it is best to go with Nvidia - so the GTX 460 sounds like the best option.
 
Cheers mate. I will order the 460GTX. Maybe even get it in time for xmas. (crosses fingers).

To be honest, that talon attack looks a bit of a beast for a 460 and apparently beats stock 470's. I dont know how true this is, but it probably can be pushed a bit further as well.

Should be good for an SLI as well.
