Bolt for Micra hinge

Essentially, one of the bolts that hold the centre hinge on my mums 08 Micra has gone missing on the door side. It had 2, now it has one and makes a clacking sound when the door is opened and closed. Any idea where to source this?

I'll get pics if needed

If its under warranty take it back.

That'll be the checkstrap i think mate...shouldn't be hard to find a bolt to fit it...prolly M6 thread...

Get one from a dealer it will be a handfull of pennys.

Found one in the loft, screw, not bolt though. Temp fix till i get the right one. Assume some loctite will be needed as well?

Wouldn't put a screw in it, you stand a good chance of causing damage to the threads in the door then you have a much bigger problem on your hands.

If you must go to halfords and buy one.

Hi, screw is the exact same thread, machine screw not pointed or anything, literally only difference is that the head is a flat blade screw type instead of a bolt head. I think it came from when i had a few ceiling fans stored in the loft. I'll pass by the dealers soon.

That's ok then, i was thinking traditional wood screw style.
