My current XBox360 dvd drive has died, so it's time for a new one.

Which on is the best package

For example if I buy the 4gb slim and kinetic package from morrisons, can I then just attach a external hard drive to it( for downloads and saved ganes etc) or am I better to buy a old style one with hdmi and use my exsisting 20gb drive.

So many options!!!!

Do not buy the 4GB console, it's useless. Buy a package with a hard drive included. You cannot just use a standard external drive.

I thought you could, but only 16GB of it? Though that of course is next to useless...

Can't you crack an old style 360 drive open and fit one of those to a 4GB console? I'm sure I've read that you can do that.

If I were you, I'd either get a 250gb slim for 185 quid from a competitor with fast free delivery, or go with the slim, hdmi cable and game (I'd go with fallout new vegas) offer for £195 with bog standard delivery from another competitor. Sorry, I can't be more helpful :S
Don't bother with kinect. The technology isn't ready yet and the games are bad.
If you're not bothered about new, you can get a preowned 120gb elite with 1 year guarantee for 90 quid from a competitor.

The shiny black is horrid. The 4gb is a nice Matt black and you can get any old xbox hard drive open the case and slot the drive in the s model.......
