Subaru + Snow = :D

The 4WD system in a Golf isnt proper 4WD though really, its a part-time system which only works when it senses slip, and engages the rear drive through the use of a clutch. Not sure if this would make any difference to how it donuts though :D

yes it does make a difference it makes drifting in the snow lazy and clumsy its quite tricky to get the back end out without the front letting go 1st. iv got a manual controller sat in the garage with that i can make it anywhere between 100/0 f/r split to full 50/50 split and i can leave it there if i want should me far more lively then ;)

ps wy would the police get involved in that? the worst i could possibly do was run the wife over if i got it REALLY wrong :p

@ the op: Looks like fun, I'm really tempted to take mine for a spin in the local retail park :p The exhaust sounds great, just how an Impreza should sound IMO. I wimped out and got rid of my Nur Spec as the drone on a cruise was really annoying me. I now have a HKS Hi Power 'Silent' installed, the 'silent' bit is a joke as it's barely any quieter than the Blitz! :p

Come down here and run mine over if you want :D

I really want to take my Z3 out for some überdoriftoooorz but I'll never make it as far as an empty car park :(
Last time I took it to work I was spinning the rears in 4th :(

Impressive, but what you should've done is jump out of the car and let it do it's own 4-wheel drifts. Amiright?

Everyone is laughing their asses off at the woman in the 1 series, but I'll say this - when she gets out and leaves it in gear at idle, the car is still wheelspinning on the spot - with zero throttle input. If it has that little mechanical grip then all the skill and experience in the world will be of little use.

I can see where she was going with the whole put it in gear and push it thing but it's not what I'd have done personally!

You removed the Blitz?? :(

Yeah it really did start to get my on my nerves as it's (currently) my daily driver and the drone when cruising got to me eventually. The HKS exhaust I've replaced it with sounds fantastic, less bassy than the Blitz with an extremely loud and throaty sound when you floor it. Idle isn't much quieter but it's the lack of any droning that has won me over

Kosta

Guessing yours is a pre Dccd then ;-) alltho you cant make it 100% rearwheel its still plenty of fun

Sam

Sam,

No DCCD on mine no! But as you say still plenty of fun!

Nice video Gurdas, you're skillz are as tight as mine yo! :D I think most believe that it's rather simple to get super fast donuts and powerslides in these things. Completely different feeling to how it looks on video to how it feels in real life!
