VHS cassettes, seriously, you put it in, you FF through the crap, you watch, with DVD/BR you put it in, it forces you to watch an unskippable anti piracy intro and sometimes unskippable adverts too, then you have to navigate the menu system for all the extra features that most people never watch anyway (why cant they be on their own disc? they cost like 9p) to play it.

If the brought out HD cassettes id be first in line [/rant]
 
Lego, tons of Lego that was designed to make the use of your imagination.. Not the pre-fab over priced stuff of today.

I miss how excited I used to get before Christmas. Now it's just a commercial chore.
 
Being care free, no worries, well, nothing significant anyway.

Also, Bugs, they should remake and update it :D

Having my mum and dad over for Christmas :( and some of the great TV specials like Only Fools and Horses they used to put on the box.

Bugs!? oh dear, you should have a look on youtube at some of the old clips.. oh dear gawd it hasn't aged well :D

Like yourself, I also miss being care free and having so much decent kids telly at the time like Transformers, TMNT and maybe even Wacaday :eek:

ignorance.

Knowledge/Awareness that is just ALL bad news doesnt do anything for me. Its a bit like being shown into a room which has no windows, is bereft of life, the door locks behind you and dissapears. 4 walls with no apparent exits. Thats where my consciousness has been led into...a cul de sac of the mind...
 

Oh and point and click adventures. Simon the Sorcerer, Discworld, Sam and Max, Monkey Island etc etc.

Enfield/Whitehouse shows.

When Kids shows were good (not random japanese imports/fluffy puppets), could list many many shows: Earthworm jim, The Tick, Bucky O'Hare, Ulysses 31, Denver the last Dinosaur, Dinosaurs, Danger Mouse etc etc just watching the intros on youtube brings back good memories (infact the intros might have been the best bits...).

Personally I can't wait for christmas to be over so I can get back to uni! :p

Friends and things to do (as well as a girl or two to chase;)), home is boring as sin at the moment.
