A mate gave me a bunch of vintage guitar pedals in lieu for me sorting his PC and network out - he wanted to sell them on the bay but couldn't be bothered.

The lot will easily fetch over £1k! Not my find but who cares!!

£125 or £175 > £399 at release tbh

It took 5-6 years before the C64 had a games catalogue and market share to even come close to rivalling the Spectrum.

Both were excellent machines and many of us took our first steps into the mysterious world of microcomputing with them
