How is that different from a non Muslim threatening/assaulting their siblings for dating a Jew, or a Muslim or a Gypsy or a kid from another school or........need I go on.

How many Parent's do you think tell their daughters, you can't go out with him because he smells, his nose is too big, I don't like his Mum or some such nonsense.

Domestic violence happens in ALL cultures, it's just fashionable among the more right wing element at the moment to believe it is exclusive to Islam.

I'm not sure how much this has to do with multiculturalism although it certainly seems to be an example of religious and/or racial fundamentalism.

I expect that Ashraf and Abul Azad will be right at the front of the queue of people wanting to join Nick Griffith's new non-racist, open-to-all BNP :D

There was no reasoned debate, there was no commentary, in fact there was nothing.

A news item and a quick rant about multiculturalism, and in fact it's not really got anything to do with that at all.

So, where does this sort of debate lead us then HTM?

Tell me why I am extreme right wing for wanting immigration controlled and believing that multiculturalism will never work due to the segregation it always, without fail , creates?
