I think skill is something to do with the rank of the people you kill compared to your rank. So if you're playing at the start you're skill level takes a while to creep up.

As I say, I only played for a week so could be completely wrong! (last OT post honest :D)

I know what you mean. I was playing a game the other night and there was this bloody level 15 sniper camping somewhere and never did find him. He got me at least 6 times.

Throw in his cruise missile attacks he ended up finishing the round with a K/D of 57/0 :eek:
 
AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHH! This is crazy, everytime I go to change weapon there is a magor delay of maybe 2-3 seconds.

I have not changed anything recently (no driver changes gfx or other wise) and my connection is not shared with any other devices ?????

I have never had any lag issues before only the rare ctd. It has only started happening since the stats have been screwed. Any ideas or suggestions guys?

M40 is my weapon of choice, its absolutely brilliant.

Have got to say, I have actually moved back to BC2 again, the Vietnam maps have been completely found out and the only decent one is Phu Bai Valley on Conquest, but even then, it feels more like a TDM than Conquest.

I too was just thinking the same thing.

It's good, but too much of a good thing and it losses its shine...
 
So, I just bought Vietnam from Steam and its not showing up in my library. If I right click on BC2 and go to the CDKey's the Vietnam key is there, but that key wont activate in game. Anyone got any ideas?
 
It just says the key is invalid or has been used before, and asks if I would like to retry or not.

Strangely enough, I could never get my promo preorder key to validate either.

That really does annoy me about this game tbh. They went through all the effort of giving the snipers rifles varying bullet drop and speed then just didn't give a **** about the rest of the guns. Its ridiculous when you can get killed as a sniper at extreme ranges by something like the M14 when all they did was point at you and bang, yet the sniper would have to judge the drop which gets considerably harder at very long ranges.

A lvl15 sniper getting that many kills without ever being seen sounds more like an aimbotter than a real sniper.
