Aye, a real shame that they went under but from the outside it looked like some seriously silly decisions made there. Lots of friends now scattered about the World thanks to that.

Lost the girl I truly love
Joined a band , Best thing ive ever done really
Played some gigs
Discovered the amazing taste of Southern Comfort and Red Bull
Made some friends , lost some friends
Currently waiting for my endorsement deal to go through with AD Drums
Been a pretty good year really
 
Snowboarding in the French Alps.
Passed all my uni exams.
Spent 2 months in Peru and Bolivia, seen Machu Picchu, Nazca lines, Salt flats, Death road and all that before camping a month in the Bolivian Savannah.
Bought new 300mm camera lens.
Went tank driving twice.
Went paintballing.
Got trained on using a machine gun (GPMG).
Turned 21.

A good year for me, lets hope next year is as eventful. Already setting up an expedition to spent 6 weeks in the Amazon rainforest, camping for a good part of that well away from human activity. All the best to everyone for next year.
 
Managed to get my business through the toughest year since I've been independent (and have had a great past few months).

Did a lot of snowboarding, including some epic powder days.

Had a daughter to complete my little family :)
 
Quit a job without anything lined up to take 3 months off to study to pass my Chartered Tax Adviser exams. Massive risk. Everything worked out well in the end - I passed my exams so I'm now fully qualified, I found an excellent job that I'm really happy in and that I'm doing well at, and we managed to afford a new computer, new car and some work around the house.

Took HGV test, passed HGV test.
Got job driving HGV.
Then completely out of the blue I got offered a job as a depot manager for one of the largest companies in europe, with a decent salary, car, pension, health care and bonuses.
Took job.
Career back on track after 6 years of frankly rubbish driving jobs.
Happy again, no more mardy atpbx.
 
I started a degree with the OU
Great Aunt died
Turned 30 years old and had a bouncy castle party
Went on a large scale camp with a group of Guides who'd never camped before (excellent)
Spent almost 3 weeks in midwest America and loved it
Grandmother died

A year of ups and downs. But on balance despite my family losses. Both of which have hit me hard, 2010 was still better than 2009. Here's to 2011!

Graduated from Uni.
Excellent weekends at T/Rockness and some memorable gigs.
Went inter-railing round Europe in the summer.
Came back home to find I'd been offered a PhD.
 
- Dealt with the loss of my Granddad.
- Completed 1 year living in my new house.
- More importantly managed to survive bill payments for said house.
- Went to the best gig of my life (RATM - Finsbury Park).
- Got a payrise at work.
- Made progress in furthering my career in other ways.
- Booked and mostly paid for a holiday start of 2011.
- Acquired two awesome kittehs from Pinter75 (OcUK Famous Kittehs).
- Got suspended from forums for abusing Steve in the L4D2 PC Gaming thread.
- Blacked up for Halloween.

I'm sure there is more but that is off the top of my head!
 
Lost 4.5 stone.
Ran a 10k (Great Yorkshire Run - Sheffield) in 47:36
Hiked to Everest Base Camp and climbed Kala Patthar.

Simples!
