Do you think my magazines are worth selling?

Unless you have some first print of rare comics from many years ago then I don't think you are going to get much interest I'm afraid.

That memory will always pee mee off. When I was younger, I had the entire first-print run of the "Aliens" comic books, which included Earth War, Hive etc. along with the Predator and Terminator runs.

Loaned them to a friend, who when told by his mother to clean up his bedroom decided that a black bin liner was the best place to store the comic collection.

You can guess what his mother did while he was out of the house.

Worst "do you want to buy my magazines" thread ever.

I don't want you guys buying them, I want money for them thank you very much

And I might just ditch them somewhere like a reading room, I don't like the bay D; Or I could hand them out to kids these days to educate them on proper music?

If they are pre 200, maybe pre 250, you might end up with quite a bit for them! Just don't sell them all as one lot!

I think I've got about 137 onwards but can't check as they are still at my parents house. Most of them mint condition. Any ideas how to fond a value or where to sell 'em?

What you want is the old SOUNDS headlines like "Are these the new Led Zeppelin" when referring to Queen and "Are these a poor mans Status Quo" when referring to ACDC.

I wouldn't worry, they are worth peanuts. I have them all (DH Aliens/Predator/Terminator runs), in immaculate mint condition, picked up on ebay for less than 50p each over the last 3 months.

Happy to be of service. Quite impressed as the original Aliens comics are 20 years old now and are immaculate mint condition with sharp corners and the like.

Amazing!

In terms of the Predator comics...which was the story that was set (I think) in Alaska with cop facing off against a Hunter in the snow? That one was awesome.

I remember as a kid seeing a trailer on a video which had a creature jumping and almost scaling a building...reminded me EXACTLY of one of the images in that story and I got excited, thinking the trailer might be Predator 3. Instead, it was "Mutronics" - the first Guyver live action movie. :D
