which is best?

After flirting with the idea of getting 2nd hand 360 just to play Gears of War 2 (which i loved) i thought hey what about one of the decent fps on the PS3. (with a vantage headset coz my official sony blutooth one is borked)


Not sure which one to get. Ive played both Killzone 2 and BFBC2 both are good possibly BFBC2 is tiny bit better. Though i liked the control of KZ2 more.

These games still well populated?

Any connection issues with em?

which would you buy if you were and why? :D
 
I enjoyed CoD4 multiplayer a lot however the online community is relatively small now at around 15k regular players compared to Black Ops (the most recent CoD) which has around 700k regulars.

Oops - I'm talking about xbox. Not entirely sure about the situation on PS3.

Ain't played BFBC2 sorry. However there are some hacks on CoD4 and the main one being prestige/level hacks. These won't effect you in anyway (just little kids looking cool on 10th prestige). There are some others but they are rare to see. There are no aimbots or nothing on CoD4 for Xbox. Hacked names are also common, fancy colours again. Once again, won't directly effect you other than wanting to throttle the little kid on the other end of the Xbox. :D
 
BFBC2 would be your best bet. I am not saying the other two games aren't good but BF2 will give you more game life compared to the other two.

Cod4 is a pretty old game now. And Killzone 2 is soon going to be followed by KZ3 in the new year.

I still play BF2 and with the vietnam pack coming out today it's going to be full with players.

Aimbots, wall hack, constant UAV on Xbox (vid was posted on the 19th of this month (not by me))
Funnily enough MW2 is actually cleaner then COD4


BFBC2 is the clean one

You are correct, but the term aimbot is still used though as what has been done with the 360 version is that the "sticky aim" has been significantly increased to the point where if an enemy runs past the player the sticky aim is so strong that the player will follow the enemy automatically even in a 360deg circle, coupled with the fact that the recoil value is set to 0 also.

The PC version on the other hand uses added scripts so does have a true aimbot that auto aims at the nearest head usually when ADS is engaged.
 
anyone else here with boomerang rentals? They are legit right?

their SSL encryption doesnt seem to exist

and i get warnings because their security certificate is out of date or is not valid etc..

Yup, been with them for about a year, they do have the odd killer deal on their ex-rentals.
By rights any DLC codes included in a new game should still be valid if you buy ex-rental from them, as they only send out the disc, never the documentation.
I got a 2nd hand BFBC2 from them a month or so ago and the code worked fine.
