Just your username although if you've been in Dundee for a couple of years there's a fair chance I'd have passed by you in some pub or other. I'll amend the before sentiments then to good luck getting a job.

Congratulations and glad it's going well. Does this mean no more atpbx rants and dressing downs for various people though? That would be a shame as you can be pretty funny when you're hacked off.
 
1) Made redundant
2) Offered 3 jobs straight away
3) Went for a 2 weeks ultimate holiday in Egypt which turned into 3 weeks because of Iceland
4) Did the Potters Arf Marathon again
5) Won a local NHS Staff Award
6) Went to London to receive a Nursing Times Finalist award
7) Played the first proper gig with my new covers band
8) Bought my first pay monthly phone which is the best toy I've ever had
 
Pretty big year for me...

Marriage almost fell apart at the start of the year and was at the end of my tether. All sorted out now and both very happy with life.

Got a new job that I'm delighted with. Good pay and free health insurance! The first non retail job I've had in a few years....no more working weekends and evenings - yay.

Started driving again for the first time in years. Was a bit scary at first, but really enjoying it now.

Went to China for 3 weeks with the missus. Amazing experience, but I wouldn't go again. Beautiful scenery but the people are generally not nice, I'm sad to say.
 
Had my first girlfriend in 2 years.
Dumped said girlfriend after 11 months of some great times but some really **** times.
Last month has been good...maybe because i didnt have said girlfriend.
Seen more of my friends.
been paintballing and was told i should go competative....i must spend to much time on mw2.
built a kick ass new pc.
got a new job.
got a new car...now i have to pass my driving test in 2011 and make it a worthwhile investment .

bring on xmas and new year so i can get drunk and have some great times with friends again :D

Also went to see quite a few gigs. just found out my favorite local band havdnt broken up, i really think they could be huge, so a few trips to see them next year
MUSE! at wembley was fantastic.

already next year im going to Vegas for a week, planning on cyprus 5 star for some R&R as havnt had a real holiday in years.

*it can only get better* :D

Dumped my gf, she wanted a what she called sidestep and be friends for now. I said not a chance and walked out. Best thing to happen this year, so much happier to be free of her.

Moved back into my three bed house towards the end of the year. Nice to finally be back home, the ex wasn't interested in how I felt about living in her house and she was on some dodgy benefits and I couldn't put my name down as living there otherwise she'd have lost her housing benefits. I felt like a crook and fairly homeless. Glad to be now home and feel like I'm at home and not lodging..

Made some new friends, which is pretty cool. Got a date with a new girl, she text me back after the date and has been in touch with me since and says she'd like to see my again. Bonus. Also, girl I've been talking to on POF wants to meet so hey - I'm single, young, good looking IMO and free so bring it on.. See what 2011 brings..!!

Other then this, been pretty much a slow year like any other year really...

Skiied in LES ARCS for a week
Skiied in Saalbach for a week
Quit college, got my first full time job which is unbelievable with a very very promising future.
Moved into my first home
got first year no claims :)
Pretty good
 
Moved to Southern California
Learned to surf
Have had my accent loved multiple times
Worked in the State Parks
Now electrocute people for a living
Bought a Cadillac :p

That's all really :D
 
Got a decent job in April after being unemployed and my wife leaving tail end of 2009.

Now ive got some decent money coming in i can treat myself and start looking to the future. Here hoping for a decent 2011 :)
 
Moved from Thailand (awesome) to NW Australia (not awesome).
Bought a new mountain bike, which broke after 3 rides.
Been on a lot of holidays this year.

This year has been up and down, hoping 2011 will be much better.
 
Lost 2 stone, still free of it 6 months later.

Started exercise routine, then started at a gym when it got cold. :D

The exercise and gym have gone a bit too pot over the last month due to work and the weather, which is seriously annoying, but now the worst of the xmas rush is over, I've got the hunger back.

Looking forward to next year.

A good year all things considered :)
 
Crap year for me.

Broke up with GF of 4 years, only benefit being I now have my own place but downside being it costs me most of my wage to live alone. Roll on the new year, hope it has more ups than this one has had.
 
Ended a perfectly good relationship to try and win back an Ex. Failed.

Mended a severely broken heart (slowly)

Saw 4/5 of my favourite bands (Manics, OCS, British Sea Power and Delays) & saw a brilliant new (to me!) band called Ezio

Took an aerobatic flight in a Extra 200

Went clubbing in Skipton (as part of a Stag Do on a barge in North Yorkshire)

Supported my folks through my mum's latest brush with cancer.
