Can anyone Spec some Fans for my Blackops pc please? I have Coolermaster HAF 912 PLUS case the cpu is oc I need:

Top Cooling: 1x 200 mm or 2 x 120mm fans

Front Cooling: 1x 200 mm or 2 x 120mm fans << if you think be better than the stock fans.

Thank you.

Do you really need new fans? Are you having problems with temps?

This. Just because the case has slots doesn't mean you need to fill them or indeed replace the stock ones unless they are failing to meets your needs.

Top mounted fan perhaps? Is it really needed though?

Those 200mm fans will be a lot quieter than a lot of 120mm fans.

Hey thanks for the replies just wanted something quieter and top mounted fan to increase the air flow as I leave my pc on over night while rendering, never really brought fans before not sure which brands to go for.

Noctua, Enermax, Akasa, Yate Loon, Sharkoon Silent Eagles.

Depends on your budget, airflow and noise requirements really.

The Yate Loons were available on OCUK for just a few quid recently but seemed to have dropped off the site now, shame. Noctuas are ugly but do give very good results. Enermax make some good fans and some are very blingy. Akasa Viper and Apache are well recommended here. The Sharkoons are supposed to be good too.

Would recommend connecting your fans up to a controller if you are getting anything with more than 1000rpm especially if you share a room with your rendering PC at night.
