Steam christmas sale 2010... *twitch*

anybody getting mouse lag in metro2033 using win7 ?
tried it in xp and it runs perfect at max detail.....tried it in win7 and it runs like crap in comparison....tried DX11 and DX9.

I'm still not convinced enough about Lara and the GoL. Isn't there a shedload of DLC to shell out for? Or is that all free?

I thought (and hope!) that the DLC was supposed to be free. Otherwise I'd feel bad about not waiting to get a bundle deal as I don't have time to play it right now.....

Metro 2033 ran fine on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit for me, I've only tried DirectX 10 though.

Also bought Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box in the deals today. £100 went into my bank account yesterday so I've decided to buy whatever the Hell I want off Steam with it :p

I've been eyeing King Arthur and it looks like it'll be up my alley, but anybody with some first-hand experience want to chip in?

I have just installed it after buying the paradox budle and am really enjoying it. It is like total war with rpg elements thrown in like some dungeons and dragon bits thrown in where you have to make choices etc and go through mini quests then the battles have some pretty fun bits thrown in like special characters and magic.

I have been hooked all afternoon. :D

The reason I asked is I found a hell or a diffence with 3d installed and not even on... but if you have not ever had 3d installed on that OS then it must be something else.

Ah hang on... you said you tried rebooting into Win7 from XP... are all your Steam games for both OSs installed in the same place? In which case that will be your problem.

ok so the 3d is software that gets installed.....i see let me go and try uninstalling that :p

yeah all the games run from the same directory but thats never been a problem for me in the past.

Just got the Tomb Raider one - was uhmming and ahhing over that when it was released - glad I didn't - buying anything on release now is pointless what with Steam!
