Not sure if this is really a suitable new thread material, but since we ( shimy182 and Jazzerman) spent ages on this piece and now wanted to show with moderate response ( more than what you would on the random image board), topped with the fact that there were no show us your snowman thread from this season... I thought I might start a new one.

ANYWAY, you might know me from such threads as, " WoW really does screw your life" and " Lego Roller coaster fun, made it today" Ladies and Gentlemen, I now present to you... SNOWMAN WITH (more)DESCRIBABLE FEATURES

quick and simple thread despite all this writing tbh, I just wanted to post some pictures but knowing this forum, those threads are regarded negatively.

We didn't want to settle for a normal snow man, so we thought we will go a step up from it. Took 2-3 hours and started well after 10 PM.

Hope you all like, and If you still have snow in your area, Id like to see some more attempts of interesting snow sculptures!

Piling up to start off with and carving away within 2 hours works best as hardened snow is hard to work with. Butter knives are also sufficient to cut through :)

ALSO: I am aware of the snow man ideas thread, but .... it was a little too irrelevant, I thought.

Me and a few mates started building an igloo big enough for 6 people and a poker table, but we underestimated how tall it would get so couldn't finish it :(

Photos coming soon :)

Picture 4, very creepy!

Great snowman though!

Ah yes, you noticed Jazzor lurking in the back

We want to go for an Igloo next, but maybe we will take sad Keanu with us :P, now awaiting those pictures !

I'm jealous. :(

Ours is about a foot and a half tall as that's all the snow we have. :(

Did make a 10 foot one on Dartmoor a couple of years ago though.

Haha, that is epic indeed Jay, even if its not your work. Also I think we have our next challenge, and this time, I don't think it will be suitable to build it in either of our gardens.. but maybe at the local primary school ^^.

And Neodude, Im loving your snowman, joint effort of all takin in picture?

Oh damn, I only just noticed this. We were thinking sad Keanu after we started, but it was too late to change it =(

Oh well there is always next year.
