Cod 4 at a tenner, some one decide it for me!! Iv played a fair bit of MW2 and Black Opts and both are good fun (on the ps3) is it good fun on the pc?? (bearing in mind ill be playing on the mbp in w7)

Hell yes. Great SP campaign and awesome MP with some classic maps like District and Crossfire.

Just cause 2 is good, its like grand theft auto in a sense.
Does anyone rate AVP thinking it might be worth getting but not got that great of a meta score

I've found a few of those, I can't remember which game but the pack was £10 and individually they were less than £6

Missed the last just cause 2 sale so snapped it up as soon as I saw it 3 games in 3 days bring em on!!! If Napolean goes cheap I might think about picking it up but atm I can't think of any more games I could get

Very nearly bought Assassins creed 2 until I realised that it still needs an internet connection, register for yet another publishers system etc. Sod that I'd rather just not bother, it's bad enough having to use GFWL with Steam, don't see why I should be forced into registering just to play a purchased product.

You know, I would consider AVP worth £3.75, but I am not sure it is worth the bandwidth (16GB????), time to download and storage space after.... better off getting it cheap on console and selling on again when done?

AVP is 16gb? Wow... i have it on disc and dont think its anywhere near that.

Why cant steam compress their games properly. 16 gig. If i had a 50 meg connection that would not bother me.

i am tempted to get AvP but the huge download for a punt on a game isnt really worth it for me tbh. with teh games ive bougth already im near download cap this month!

iv got 50mb and getting 200kbs-300kbs......


Steam servers are ******** to matter what connection you have, took me 2 days to download the witcher, i could have downloaded that and like 10 others games if i pirated and used Utorrent.

Wish they would sort it out and have decent servers in each of the countries they support.

if I move country with my PC will I not be able to download my games from Steam?

Right I caved and payed a tenner for Cod4 and am sitting in windows downloading it now

Waiting for something mental for tomorrow... (and FM11 to download too to see the performance difference between it in windows and mac)

I got KOTOR for £1.75 and L4D2 for £3.74 in the black friday sales, BF:BC2 on day 1 of Christmas sales for £6.79.

Now if i could just get ME2 and Arkham Asylum for £5 each on daily deals thats a good couple of months gaming there for £20! (ish)
