I was just wondering what the best way would be to clean out dye stains (like the little blobs that are soluble) from a 5 1/4" reservoir (that can't be opened). Should I use water and try and wash it off but as I can't rub the surface (because it is sealed) I am assuming this wont work. Is there an alternative solvent I should use?

Thanks :D

Use Sysclean and flush it through according to their instructions and then flush with water and then your desired fluid, this stuff works wonders it cleans out the toughest of water blockages too.

I used biological washing powder to clean a 5 1/4" bay res

Tipped a load of powder in, filled it about 3/4 with hot water, shook it like crazy whilst putting fingers over the holes for the barbs, then left over night

Rinsed the next morning and it was super clean :)
