Anyone else revising over christmas?

5 exams for me, hurray.

Statistics 1, Biology unit 2, Chemistry unit 2, physics unit 2 and Maths C3.

Beat that.

been given about 8 weeks to learn that lot from scratch, then once those exams are done theres another 7 books waiting to be absorbed in an equally short amount of time

Yeah, I'm starting tomorrow! I would have started today... but I was up all night chatting to a friend who's running off for a year, so I won't see them for eighteen months .

EU law/International law/Equity and Trusts for me.

Variation of Trusts Act 1958 s.1(1)(b).

Nothing has ever made less sense to anyone ever wthout having it explained to them.

1. Jurisdiction of courts to vary trusts.

— (1) Where property, whether real or personal, is held on trusts arising, whether before or after the passing of this Act, under any will, settlement or other disposition, the court may if it thinks fit by order approve on behalf of—

...

(b) any person (whether ascertained or not) who may become entitled, directly or indirectly, to an interest under the trusts as being at a future date or on the happening of a future event a person of any specified description or a member of any specified class of persons, so however that this paragraph shall not include any person who would be of that description, or a member of that class, as the case may be, if the said date had fallen or the said event had happened at the date of the application to the court

lul wut.

You must be chuffed.

Well deserved I guess.

It's a nice feeling being able to just relax at Christmas instead of the guilty feeling I used to get when I wasn't studying. Probably a mixture of being well deserved and a great big chunk of luck if I'm honest.

Done it the last 3 years, now all I have to do is write a massive chunk of my dissertation. I don't envy anyone who has to revise at christmas, it's depressing when everyone else is having fun.

I've got my Electrical 303 Exam on 6th of Jan, I've not done any revision yet as I've had no time. but I will have to after sunday :S.

How do you know that? :p One of my friends has handed in their dissertation already.

I finished my undergrad in 2009... :p

If all of you/most of you get good grades I must learn how you revise so much in so little time!

I mean

Well my undergrad exams dragged me down somewhat from my coursework, whereas with my school exams I did better in my exams than coursework (and did far less revising for!) so it's not all good.

I'm just hoping I pass a couple of these current exams. It's not cool when more than one lecturer mentions at the start of their section that loads of people fail their modules. Luckily for one of the more difficult exams I already have 35% from coursework so just need 30% in the exam to pass!

Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Anaylsis and Methods, Engineering Materials, Stress Anaylsis.

First exam is the 17th of January. Fun times ahead this holidays...

Good luck you guys revising for your exams. I know what some of you guys are going through because it wasn't too long ago when I pulled all-nighters for exams and assignments.

Easy, if you put as much time into studying as someone who works (9-5), it's a doddle.

I wish I was a student again sometimes.

I have an exam on Rock Mechanics which pretty much encompasses fluid mechanics and stress analysis. Probably not quite as in depth as yours but going past the point of breakage and analysing what happens after something has snapped. :(

Got to go back through about 1000 powerpoint slides for part of that!

Oh and Geophysics which is essentially an entire exam on waves and their properties. *cry*:o

Heh, my term consists of 9-5 lectures and handed in work on top of that, which is why the revision has been left so late. I wish I could have a 9-5!:p

I had all my exams before christmas so feels good man. 6 exams in one week, 2 on both fridays didnt feel so good however.
