Are there any WAR players in here ?:)
I came back to WAR after 2 year break and I enjoy it again :)

I rolled new toon with a mate of mine and play Tank+heal team all the time now :)

Im on Azgal, anyone else? :)

i used to but lost interest pretty quick, shame because i love warhammer games. Game im mostly enjoying is lotro. Is there still a community on WAR?

there is, but Im not using forums etc. But there are quite a few servers that are highly populated.

If you still remember your WAR account details, sign in again and you should have 10 free trial :) have a go and see how it is ;)

I used to play LOTRO as well ( basically when I stopped with WAR ;) )
May try it again as it is free now :) but not sure what are the limitations of it as it is free...

I loved it to bits, despite all the flaws, but uninstalled it when the item shop went in. Cosmetic items are one thing, but selling levelling aids in a subscription game is a no-go as far as I'm concerned.

They know it's dying and they're just milking it for all it's worth at this stage, I just wish they'd give the license to someone else and let them try.

yes, they could use someone that could manage it bit better...
I myself never bought any items and not going to...
just bought this new rvr boost pack...as max rr is 100 now and boost works only up to rr80, is not much of a help to old players..
and does it make new players to get renown much faster ? hard to say...
Im leveling new zealot now and am not sure if this pack helps or not ;) just play sc's and rvr so it goes quite fast anyway :)

Have they smooth out the mass RvR combat, keep takes were like a flick book.

Also are the towers and keeps any more attackable now, there was a certain tipping point when it was pretty much impossible to take anything once a certain amount of player got inside.

Having played the last beta for Rift I think I might give that a go rather than dusting off an old account.

it seems fine now, i dont have any lag or flickering ....

never heard of Rift before, but now applied for Beta account and fingers crossed I will get is so will have a look what is it :)

Just hope it is not like AION....wasted my money on it :(

I setup an unlimited trial for this to try my new rig on to see how it held up to 2 years ago, really smooth and impressive! definitley better now GOA have been given the boot of server hosting and its Bioware-Mythic on the case! Ran really well!

I did from release for about 6 months before I finally realised I was completely wasting my time with it.

The game may have changed a lot since then, but at the time it was simply awful because of the lack of support from both GOA and Mythic, the horrendously imbalanced classes, and utterly unfair keep mechanics. Those are what finally killed it for me, anyway.

I played for about 6 months after release and at the time enjoyed the pvp, but was sick of my fps dropping to unplayable levels in keeps with several players (I was using a 4870x2 at the time).

I tried WAR for a few months a long time ago, the open RvR was fun feature but there didn't seem much in the way of end-game content, what is there to do at the level cap now?

Played it for about 2 months or so after release. The early tiers are good fun, especially the instanced PvP, which was part of the problem really. It was supposed to be an full on open free for all, but that never seemed to really work. I still think there were too many servers at launch, which diluted the player base. :(

Favourite class was Witch Hunter. It just looked so cool. The pistol, the rapier, the coat and most importantly, that hat.
