50 first dates.... I dunno why but really love that film. Nearly made me cry first time I watched it. (dons flame proof coat) :(

oh and UP I mean I can't explain it but it was just amazing.

I came very close to crying at Marley and Me. Very close :(

oh yea thats gotta be another one for me tbh. Only reason I watched it was my ex really wanted to.

But I really enjoyed it. Couldn't tell her that tho :p then again maybe thats one of the reasons she is an ex lol ;)

Top Gun..gets more gay every time I watch it :(

Forced my two teen-aged sons to watch it too..is that child abuse?

Edit - A lot of films mentioned here are hardly guilty pleasures at all

The one where she takes off her top to hitchhike?

That could be what they're talking about but I've not watched it yet, maybe something to do when I get back to London.

Nah, it's a rite of passage to make your sons into men or something like that...

I'm beginning to think that there are few phrases more misunderstood in the English language than "guilty pleasure".

Everyone's got one!

Ace Ventura. I've just never grown out of them, and I know they're bad, but I can't not love them. A close second would be the sister act films.

Thats not a guilty pleasure, Ace Ventura is awesome!

however, 4 Weddings is :S.

I don't understand a lot of the posts here with regards to something 'not being a guilty pleasure', a guilty pleasure (and guilt itself) is purely subjective! You can't really disagree with someone else finding something a guilty pleasure, as guilt is an individual emotion, and emotions don't always follow logic or formula :p

Ok this one's a real guilty pleasure, I actually enjoy 'Driven' - described as Rocky on wheels on the box!
In reality it's teeth-achingly badly scripted, acted and directed; I hope Sly Stallone and Burt Reynolds got some cash cause they certainly ain't getting any plaudits!
I can't help but like it though, it's got motorsport in it :p
