they do a fantastic job here imo. perhaps a little unrelated but i so rarely ever so proper personal attacks which seems to be all too common on other forums. one i frequent in particular is a bunch of men ganging up on people it's such a joke. i was amazed when it first happened as my only experience of a forum as a regular visitor was this one where it appears life is all dandy and everyone gets along most of the time

But lets be clear you stalk mine or castiel posts, because we take you on your arguments. You don' t have to always quote or reply to me because we are in disagreement about political affairs or rag heads.

Also it seems you always have something to say. I post with merit .

That's not entirely true, but yes I did go with the flow for a while until I realised how ridiculous certain methods of this forum's management were.

Yes, I have changed a lot since I "was" a Don.

I imagine it must be quiet difficult at times to not let your personal view of posters or previous get in the way of being a mod, never thought about it really.

As I said, not had a problem with them and didn't really notice them (sign they're doing their job well, and the forum's are kept in a fairly healthy state) until recently, had a problem, still not got to the bottom of it. Bugged me.

GD is for more jokey immature posts or threads which have stopped being serious.

If you haven't worked this out as yet, there really is no hope is there.

As to the original question, yes, the mods do a brilliant job. They don't get paid and receive scant praise for weeding out the idiots who post here. I'm sorry if this comes across as attacking you, but dear god, grow up and admit you are wrong and childish self validation posts will get you exactly nowhere but short shrift from long established members here.

I think I have mentioned it before, but I don't know if I am getting old or people really are becoming more selfish and retarded with their posts on here. I'm not afraid to speak my mind because I have an opinion, if people don't like it, argue the point with me, I may change it. However, what I won't do it start silly little threads trying to get people to appease my mood swings. If I know I am beaten, I concede. If I still believe I am right, I won't continue to post while flogging a dead horse.

As for the leftist gayer comment, as you will see, most intelligent people have ignored it. See how easy that was?

I used to admin a forum of 60,000 users and 1,000,000+ posts per year.

It's a hard job. I think the OCuk mods do the job just fine.

The mods here do an excellent job keeping the various bear pits under control.

Were this not the case, I would not still be posting here after... 6 years ! Christ! is it that long?
