The best car(s) YOU'VE ever driven

Hmmm... define "best", I suppose... The car I have had my most enjoyable driving moments in was the Cerbera, but that doesn't necessarily make it a "good" car :)

I can probably tell you the worst car I have driven... a Chevrolet Cruze LT automatic for about 2 weeks in SA. I actually had two as the first one broke. It wedged itself in 4th gear and refused to change either up or down for the entire drive from Hermanus to Mossel Bay. It was tinny and cheap and underpowered. Godawful thing.
 
My VX220, but I have only driven 5 cars and a pickup truck.

(Edit: make that 7 cars, I drove a couple of Fiestas (difference marks) when I was 13 on private land.)
 
My first Impreza.

I've never felt so happy and complete as when I had it. I used to have to travel about an hour every Sunday for RC racing and the drive there was entertaining being very early on deserted roads and the drive from the track even when just pootling along and even after a poor days racing, was just great.

Only ever time I've had a similar feeling of happiness was driving back from Glasgow after picking up my Jeep.

To me, its more important how the car feels to me rather than how outright fast it is or how expensive.

Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7
Rented for a week and drove >3000km in Canada and USA during one winter.
 
The Formula Ford I drove was by far the best in terms of experience.

I've driven some nice cars, ones I'll probably never own but the FF is an easy winner.

How did you get on with the Caterham challege?

There one with the long straight and then the donut at the very end... I wont lie to you... lol I was rubbish at it.

I beat my boss, that was all that mattered :D it was, tricky, to say the least, but those Caterhams are lairy buggers!
 
I have never enjoyed driving as much as when i had my Nova, but the best car i have driven enjoyment wise would have to be a Japanese import Impreza STi.

The sound was incredible, the engine had every mod you can think of, it was outstanding, fast and gave you confidence when driving.

Nothing has been close since.

I did get to drive a friend of my dads ferrari 360, but only through our village and never got above 40 mph.....that was a nice feeling.
