THe next socket is apparently Quad Channel.
1155 (Sandy's current) is replacing the current 1156 as dual, next socket is replacing 1366, but as Quad.

Looks to me intels doing very well replacing there mainstream lineup quite well and fast, and id expect half way thru the year we get AMDs soloutions with bulldozer and if thats any good intel still release there highend soloutions in fall....
No chance of loosing really, goodluck to AMD anyhow but I got a feeling if Ocuk do some Sandybridge Bundles where there 5ghz there gonna me selling faster then chocolate chip Muffins dipped in yellow Custard.....
