Just starting the Online challenges today, the first batch expire on 6th Jan, so I need to get a move on!. Can anyone who has done them recommend cars. Some races are locked a to s specific model, but others allow you a choice of multiple cars, like the GTR race in Bonus 1. I haven't got any GTR's I don't think so wondering which one to buy, or what race it can be won from.
So far I have just done one of the bonus races (Fiat 500) and could only finish 2nd

Buy skyline gtr r35 spec v don't do oil change.
When you finally decide that the fiats 500 impossible switch skid recover on for the event. I used skid recovery for the Ford focus event too.

Well the SLS has a great big engine up front, moving forwards very quickly, it takes some doing to get that big weight to change it's direction, it's physics matey
There are things you can do to improve turn in, eg give it higher camber on front than rear. If it's difficult to turn under breaking, try moving the break balance to the rear, make the rear suspension stiffer. Although with the SLS I find just being more agresive on turn in helps. Google a basic guide to suspension setup, anything that applies to real life applies equally to GT.

ditto, it's a decent car.
Other cars I found rather useful, the 190E EvolutionII got me through both A-Spec Schwarzwald cups and the Lotus Carlton was one of my first cars and did the Supercar Festival. Tomy Kaira ZZ-S is a beauty to drive too.
WTF?They're all easy tbh. Well, certainly in the first set anyway. Second set, first race with the Minis is not as easy. Not tried the others yet.

No are they heck. No way you did fiat 500 easily without massive outlay on fully custom transfer and suspension. Not without skid recovery force same as the focus challenge. Maybe you have it switch on but don't realise. If its easy redo it and post the video. Focus one particularly.

Fwiw I did the mini Cooper challenge min mods no aids no skid and won. Ford one not do able unless you extreme technical line driver.
I think I have skid recovery on already tbh. But I am not really losing time skidding, Maybe I need to change some gears and stuff? Will Aero parts help? So far I just bought a weight reduction and air filter to get the Fiat to the exact limit of the race.

the fiat one was easy to be fair. I only bought the filter and full trans. changed the top speed to 87 and done it on my first go after reading a post on here.

No need to be offensive, I didn't necessarily mean those specific cars, I just mean we got nothing while Japan got something.

I'm not saying that it can't be done without skid recovery but like I said if you can supply a video showing no skid recovery.I'd like to see.
If you can tell me how to get a replay from GT to the interwebs then I think I saved the 500 one which I found easier w/o SRF.
