At first glance it looks a bit of a mess.

The menus are confusing and convaluted. Being able to race anywhere in a city you want sounds like a good idea. But now you have to figure out which way to go, be a map reader whilst your in the middle of racing. There a reason rally drivers have co drivers.

But it is free so complaints are mitigated with that.

the road sign flashes at the top of the screen indicating which path you should take but ive still ended up going the wrong way a few times.

the game just seems boring to me it all feels the same and online doesnt sweem much better

The non rotating map really annoys me, to often either going the wrong way or crashing because you concentrate to much on the map.

Worst thing I find its not longer burnout? seems like racing game where you take down cars? wheres the Tight race tracks? and all the Traffic like in the old ones?

In case anyone gets the game and wants to avoid the horrible ea download manager, you can just download the free trial of the game from anywhere and use your cd key to unlock the full version at the time of installation.

Login, download, install.

Don't even need installed/running afterwards!

ESC to menu then F1 and F2 move across menus then click Save & Exit.

You can tell it's a console port because of this poor menu system and the fact that when you start the game it tells you not to turn off your machine while saving.
