Rule No.1 with Steam, never buy a game, especially during sale time, that isn't on sale unless you really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really want it and even then you should wait until it's on sale
I officially own too many Steam games, only picked up a couple during this sale and that's simply to alleviate feeling bad over not buying something.

Is the EPIC Unreal deal worth it?
I mean how much MP life have any of those games got?
I dont want to get UT3 (the latest one I believe) and find a community as large as midgets 3 fingered hand*
*Disclaimer I know midgets dont have 3 fingered hands by default, im assuming this one had an industrial accident of somekind...probably sued and came out with a few quid. I mean no harm done and if Fort Boyard starts up again with Dirty Den... then theres going to be plenty of demand for midgets dressed like Pirates, so he could put a hook on or something.

I thought so.
People still play UT3 and UT2004 but not in huge numbers. Should be enough people to get a game regularly but don't expect to find loads of full servers. I think it is an awesome deal if you want most of the games. Even Unreal 1 is brilliant (single player) if you like that sort of thing. I personally rate Unreal 2's SP as well. (I would like to get Unreal 1 on Steam but it is £5.99 on its own and I already own all the others.)
