Exactly. Imagine say 100,000 people have bought over 10GB of titles (out of the several million users). I wasn't referring to individual users; like you I've got unmetered download 12 hours a day during the weekdays and all weekends.

Presuming even half of those actually decide to download what they've bought...that's a LOT of bandwidth

Just spent 30 frustrating minutes trying to work out how the hell to play X3: Terran Conflict....did they get the flipping janitor to write the 'tutorial' for this? It asked me to shoot some junk but the ship I'm in doesn't seem to have weapons (press ctrl to fire, ctrl does.....nothing)

Really thought this would be my kind of game but it seems utterly impenetrable

Isn't it right click to fire all weapons?

Press m to load a missle then ctrl to fire the missile, I think.

i think its a great game kind of like an instant action version of the proper tomb raiders, plenty of exploring and stuff to do and the usual puzzles but lots more action

don't know how it would control with keyboard and mouse (the firing in different direction to moving) but with an xbox 360 pad it is great fun.

Bought Super Meat Boy and IMO, it is pretty solid at points

I hate Steam's sales, they cause me to part with cash that should be going towards my graphics card!!!

Just about the only online FPS I've ever put any serious time into is Battlefield 2. I'm thinking about getting Bad Company 2 as a replacement, am i likely to like it?

I found BC2 very enjoyable, and this is coming from somone who is a massive CoD player (generally people who play a lot of CoD dont get on with Bad Company).

Convinced I recently hooked up my ps3 controller to play Super Meat Boy so I've now got another game to use it with.

Have a gander at the Egosoft forums. There is a fan made tutorial document that is definitely worth reading! If you stick with it, X can be an amazing game

How well would an AMD X2 4400 (2.3ghz) , 2gb RAM , and a 3850 pro 512mb play BC2? Just noticed it's on at £6.80.

Also could someone tell me how big the download is?

It seems to be dependent on the game for me. ME2 is downloading in 20 second chunks every few minutes, whilst several others are chugging away at 400-500KB/s.
