Is it me or has the tv this christmas been really crap?

Topgear was ok got the second part were they are in Iraq, fingers crossed it should be good, other than that it's really been quite a dissapointment:mad:

I've not owned a T.V. for over a year, can't say I miss it and this years Christmas TV looked terrible anyhow.

Might re-invest once I get my hands on that fancy new Virgin Tivo service, maybe... we'll see :)

Load of ****** for tele this year, infact it's been like this for the past 6 or 7 years really. Just a load of repeats of Only Fools and Horses, Blackadder etc.

Same **** every year.

It's been dreadful I agree. I was rather looking forward to it but had not known how bad the quality of films and shows were. Crappy Shrek, which has been on a billion times and then Santa Claus The Movie (which I do love to bits).

I think Top Gear has been the only 'new' content on TV I have enjoyed.

The US Top Gear was dull, the middle East one had some moments.

I'm actually recording quite a bit of stuff, whether I'll watch much of it is another matter. Then again I've just had a gander through the TV guide and the next few days are terrible. Still it'll give me an excuse to get things done.

The only thing I watched was Top Gear, everything else is boring. They didn't have a very good selection of films on this year.

oh god i missed this thread but i 100% agree, its been dreadful, top gear was good. I have no interst in cars but those 3 guys are a fantastic comedy trio.

But only a few. The desert "epic" was very lame. It started off with some promise and then just took a wrong turn and turned out to be another BBC extended time slot filler. They’ve lost it in the creativity department and it’s time for them to take a long break. Maybe they should have just got lost in the desert.

And don't worry if you missed last nights Top Gear, you can watch it again.. tonight.. because the beeb are dragging the barrel this year when it comes to christmas tv. So far, the only things that I've watched, have been..

The One Ronnie (didn't quite live up to expectations)
Upstairs Downstairs (hmmmm..)
Top Gear (getting old these days)
Dr Who (interesting trailer at the end)
