Anyone here dislike driving?

I generally avoid driving when there are too many people on the roads, I absolutely hate driving on motorways etc when they are full of idiots, if possible I'll wait until late in the evening before using motorways.

I started to dislike driving a few months ago. My commute to work is short, but it is entirely on south/central London backroads, every 3 minutes there is a set of traffic lights, etc.

Now I only drive for pleasure and find myself enjoying the activity a lot more, but still not nearly as much as I did when I passed my test and would drive about for hours just for the hell of it

Oddly I don't really like driving at night at all. I can and will drive in the night, but I don't enjoy it nearly as much as in daylight - I sometimes find on coming car's headlights almost blinding.

i love it... and hate it.

a blast through Wales, or the south coast is great.

Other drivers and driving around London though...? ARRG

this is partly down to the car and the road its being used on. If you have a hot hatch in a hill twist ville you will be happy.
equally if you have a 7 series auto with cruise and all motorway you will be happy

Yes and no, i dilike normall diving. However give me dom twists where you can use the throttle and it sudddnly becomes exciting.

I used to love driving, especially late at night - used to hop in and go for a blast anywhere, used to drive from EN3 to SW19 to pick the misses up from work at 2am even though she could take the car herself.

Now that driving a van is a major part of my work I hate it. I am sick of traffic jams, bad driving, speed bumps, speed cameras, traffic lights, i.e anything that impedes my progress. I'm also seriously sick of changing gears myself and long for the day I will drive an automatic.

I never thought I'd dislike driving so much as to want an automatic gearbox (I hate autos too!) but the day has come.

I only find it a chore because of other road users. Inconsiderate morons, women and having to continually watch your backside because everyone around you could potentially and most probably pull a silly manoeuvre. Sending you to deaths door!

Bit dramatic but you get the picture :p

I quite like driving at night when no other cars are around :)

Only dislike driving.. in lots of traffic (London from 07:00 - 01:00) and long journeys when my back starts hurting.
