90s BBC show identification please

Anyone remember a show back in the 90s or early 2000s where a man would travel around on bike and do sciency things, wasn't really a show that was aimed at younger kids pretty sure it was on at evening times.

It was on BBC btw.

vaguely remember it was some bloke in his late 40`s maybe early 50`s carnt remember his name though sorry :/

i'm pretty sure adam hart-davis is the presenter. no idea about the series though....

He is quite the loon but an incredible character, his science and history programs constantly crop up on Discovery and other digital channels

Yup, fantastic program. He really was a stalwart for science on tv for a while.
