Congratulations on the proposal! (seemed a pretty key bit to the trip there...) :D

NY is really nice, did you take the UN tour?? (Iv got a picture of the 2 building somewhere, there was a street round the back with loads of the cars of the diplomats from there)

The post office is pretty epic! When I saw it there were queue's of people sending stuff for christmas out side it, so it looks a bit like the Parthenon with a practical use...
 
Just booked next January for 5 nights at the W Times Square as well, hoping to upgrade the rooms so we are higher up :)

My wife however is under the misunderstanding that there is a Central Perks... :rolleyes: :p

In that case, I am going to find the Ghostbusters :)
 
For anyone else going - Not to be missed in NY regardless of your age is ToysRus on Broadway, it makes our UK versions look pathetic, a life sized animatronic T Rex was amazing, and massive Lego models etc. plus loads of radio controlled stuff flying around :p

Also don't miss grand central station (terminal) as it's incredible and the largest train station in the world with 44 platforms with 67 tracks :eek: , a massive building covering 48 acres with masses of shops and every kind of restaurant, with interior in marble with plush red leather button chairs etc. also see all the shoeshine boys doing their stuff on special leather high chairs :D
