Stupid friend put finger in graphics card fan.

So tonight my friend put his finger in my graphics card fan whilst it was spinning at 100% speed. I've got an XFX ATI Radeon 5870. One of the fan blades has snapped off and I'm looking to purchase a replacement fan, but I'm not sure what size etc to look for and I can't seem to find anything usefull on google.

I'd take this opportunity to get a 3rd party cooler. Something like this:

Blood was spilled, thankfully not on any of my pc! He sliced his finger open but he's fine =D

Is there no way I could buy an ATI replacement fan the same as previous? I know that would be an upgrade but I'm actually saving up for a new case at the moment.

I had an AC Accelero Twin Turbo on my old 4850 which was ace, I think the latest ones fit a 5870

You could contact the manufacturer, but I think all in it'd be better just to buy an aftermarket cooler.

The XFX Radeon HD 5870 is non reference, is it not ?

I made a mistake of buying an aftermarket my XFX and it was a non reference board so the heatsinks didnt fit.
