Hi guy's, I've narrowed it down to a Gtx 570 for my Sandy Bridge newbuild but now the flashed 6950's have been thrown into the mix I can't make up my mind, i've not really got a budget but I also like a bargain & I could save myself nearly 60 quid for not far off same performance decisions decisions

Save yourself £60 and get the 6950 and flash it, you can't go wrong. Unless you want all of Nividia's little CUDA and PhysX gadgets then get the 570.

I'd wait a while and see if anyone comes across any problems with their flashed card before diving in and then finding out they stop working after a month.

Sandy bridge is not out yet?

LGA1155 is going to be a bit meh. Out in Q1 2011
LGA2011 is going to be the daddy and worth upgrading. Release date Q3 2011.........

Why dont you look at the cards when CPU's and MOBO's actually come out?

it would be good to have these extras but i don't think it would bother me if they wasn't there either.

Im keeping a close eye on Easyrider's thread;)

Im aware of the Sandy Bridge launch date & im quite set on which board i want! i think i'd be happy enough with that to be honest.

A 6950 at under £220 has gotta be a steel at the minute & giving it's potential with the flash, i'm thinking these might up slightly in price come new year & my money's burning a hole:D
