nvidia 570 vs 580

what are the main performace diffrence between these two card in the real world at 1920x1200
arma 2 is my main game

and i see the 570 has 2 6 pin power sockets but i have a 6 and 8 pin how can i fix this. if i go with a 570

The 570 will be on par with the 480 just with better temps/quieter at the expense of less memory.

The 580 predominantly shines in benches and at resolutions above 1080p, and the real world difference in games isn't that great from what I've seen (below 1080p). Also, the 570s seem to overclock pretty well in my experience if you wanted to save some money and squeeze out some extra fps :)

Another card to consider would be he 6950 if the majority can be unlocked :p

EDIT: Which PSU have you got? Most come with 6+2 pin connectors instead.

cant rember what is is jeantech i thick i now it is 900watt and has a 6 and 8 pin

Yeah when you said only an 8 pin earlier, it set alarm bells ringing :p

I wouldn't want to risk running a 570 on a generic psu like a jeantech if you can avoid it. I've had a bad experience with one in the past, they're not great.
