Exactly, if your running around with a team that has one brain cell one of the group will have a stinger and cold blooded = no air support. Hell, regardless of killstreaks, any team player will kill themselves to get the air support down.

Its 1 stinger for a harrier, 2 for a pave low and 2/3 for chopper gunners and ac130s. I take it you think MW2 is better than BO?
 
hehe, I went 17-4 on Crisis this morning, then 8-16 on Array (playing with the Draganov - getting killed more than killing), then 8-10 on WMD which was lagged to hell - had to unload a clip into someone only for them to kill me with a pistol (hate last stand).
 
ps3 here,

multiplayer crashes a lot, i get crashes all the time, sometimes after 30 seconds others after 20 minutes. i think its to do with being host. whenever i get host, i crash.

rcxd is annoying, so much so, ive put it on my killstreak rewards. it takes no skill to get and even less to use and if your smart you can get double kills every time.
 
I am currently level 42.

What happens when i reach level 50 to prestige ??

Does it cost money to prestige ?

Does it reset all my unlocks back to level 1 ?

Resets everything, except your emblems and titles. So, before you prestige, spend all of your money on those.

Anyway, I've finally received MW2 and oh my, so much fun! I've missed you intervention. :D

EDIT: Hmm, strict NAT for MW2 but it works fine; open NAT for Black Ops but plagued with connectivity problems. :p

I think the fundamental basis and mechanics of MW2 strips Bops and run rings around it and game play variance is much better in it, but unfortunately MW2 is flawed as is Bops but in different ways Bops is flawed IN it's basis and mechanics (matchmaking and Net code) whereas MW2 is flawed due to letting the game be run by QS and OMA toobs take them out of MW2 and the game is a leap ahead of Bops (MW2 is in fact IW4 engine whereas Bops is the older IW3 engine with added stuff).

I don't know what it is but MW2 just seems to flow so much better than bops to the point that I am confident to go in to any game and know that I will do fairly well whereas in Bops I find It strange some games no matter what I do I die over and over (maybe it's lag or maybe I'm just crap at it I just don't enjoy it half as much as MW2 and I'm happy to play MW2 all day long with no KS selected before anyone posts up about the OP KS).

I have played some Pure TDM today and that gamemode really shines in bops, if you want a real gun only game try it also the connection on it seems so good had a great game on Nuketown I managed 44/9 with Semtex getting me 3 kills total the rest with guns only, no equipment or KS or perks really good game mode.

Seems to be a real lack of people playing lately , people sick of it? Or just busy over Xmas? I've played the odd game over Xmas but funny thing is I haven't missed it
 
reset your router and forward ports to the ps3 or put the PS3 in the DMZ.

If it still says strict afterwards then it's not you it's the game unfortunately it is a little buggy on the PS3.

what ISP do you use ?

Virgin Media's router is terrible for this. I ended up reflashing the router with DD-WRT firmware to get uPnP working properly so it said NAT type open, without forwarding ports.

cable and wireless. it might be down to the isp..but im using an unbranded thomson speedtouch router.
 
just out of interest...this may be slightly off topic, but i'm looking at a cheap tp-link modem router on amazon, do you or anyone on here have any experience with this brand or should i just avoid? its the second biggest seller on amazon.
