How do i tell if my power supply is not big enough?

Right now i have a 700Watt PSU powering my gaming rig.
(AMD PHENOM II X4 955 @3.65GHZ,
4GB DDR3 1333MHZ RAM @1550MHZ,
1GB ATI RADEON 5870,
500GB HARD DRIVE,
DVD-RW.
Also my case has like ... 6 fans)

My voltages read as so...

vcore1: 3.76V
vcore2: 3.68V
+3.3V: 1.81V
+5V: 3.66V
+12V: 6.53V

are the voltages being WAY off saying my power supply is overtaxed?

P.S - if it is can anyone recommend me a decent PSU for my spec machine?

where are you reading those voltages from?

if they were correct i dont think you machine would start......

Speedfan, any good software u recommend?

btw, it also thinks my southbridge is at -128 degrees lol?

Speedfan is normally perfectly fine :confused:

RE new power-supply, I'd look at this or perhaps its 750W bigger brother.

It was fine with my old board just my new one :/

And its an icute AP-700AS. actually really good tbh.

I do not take any notice of software readings for voltages, at the moment my 12v line is reading 4.93v according HW monitor and Speed fan ect read the same.

Only use a multimeter to check.

A 600w will be fine for your setup

What he said. Software monitoring is rubbish much of the time. Check in the BIOS for a more accurate reading, or for the best readings, use a multimeter.

Thanks for the advice guys. just checked with a multimeter.

+12V: 12.2V
+5V: 5.0V
