if its your first time at HL/BS/OF your in for a treat graphics maybe aging but they were classic games.

might even run thru them on my laptop never finished blue shift.

I'd get Half Life source tbh, and then go onto HL2, Ep1, Ep2.

Then go back to OF and BS afterward.

HL: Source runs using the Source (HL2) engine rather than GoldSrc (HL1). Exactly the same game, just slightly graphically better. Don't expect it to look like HL2 though. If you've got it, play source. If you're buying, get the package below.

As long as your not fussed about the expansions, yes.

The individual price is the same, so it's worth getting the Source version.

No. They're stand alone games, but it's cheaper to get them in the bundle with the original.

Yeah, well.

Got to the final boss and saved the game. Came back to play it a day later and all the saves were gone....

Never had the heart to finish it again after that.
