Parental Leave Vs Work Advice

Does your work offer compassionate leave?

similar to when a family member dies?

Or offer unpaid leave. Take the time off without pay. I doubt you will get sick pay or holiday pay for not going to work.

I dont care about being paid mate, Im more concerned about my twins.
1 of them was taken to hospital in ambulance and spent 3 days in Intensive Care, and the other twin was taken in a few days later with same issue but worse and if he continues to have breathing problems, there is no room for him if he needs to go to Intensive care / high dependancy unit to be put on to a ventulator so would need to be transferred to another hospital.

I want to go into work, I also want to take care of my son because I cant expect my wife to look after them both and sort my older 2 kids out...
 
You don't need to explain the illness to me! All work needs to know is that he is in intensive care (the details is neither here or there as you need to be sick enough to be in there in the first place).

If you don't care about being paid then ask for some unpaid leave.
