80-90% of all players have absolutely no idea how to play this game.

They seem to think it's a large scale game of TDM and killing its the objective.

There is practically no team work and no understanding of very very basic tactics.

Almost no one spots, no one heals, no one revives, no one drops ammo, tank drivers drive off while you are trying to repair them, players drive off from the main base in a vehicle ON THEIR OWN, leaving others no option but to make it into battle on foot which gives the enemy a massive advantage. Players will constantly fight over one capture point while the enemy has the other 2 or 3 bases. Loads of player use the engineer class and never use their rockets on enemy vehicles. Players run off from the health packs you've just dropped for them without healing. Players will respawn on you in an area being attacked by the same tank that killed them, but not as an engineer with rockets or recon and C4.

I think there should be some kind basic training that locks the game online until you've past it.

Hallelujah some one saying the same things that I think!

To fix this we need an ocuk server or two....

Port Valdez is a good example where you frequently get tanks sat almost in there spawn shelling things and you can't do jack about it.

If you're not to careful with your kdr, a suicide c4 rush can make it or if there an abandoned quad a jihad rush :D

always lols as you blow em up and on their kill cam you know they watch you "suicide" from out of bounds a few seconds later :p

A lot of what you just said should be remedied by the subject having a reasonable amount of what we call 'common sense'...

.. course they don't and they will never figure it out and will keep failing.

I know what you mean though. You can dance the fandango in front of some Medics or Assaults and they won't bother dropping anything for you. Doesn't help that the 'q spot' that makes you ask for ammo/health is so ****ing difficult to do sometimes and of course isn't explained ANYWHERE so most likely no one even knows of its existence.

I must admit i am guilty of grabbing Quad Bikes on Panama Canal and driving out on my own but then thats because most people who take Quads are morons who drive full speed to the first point then cap it... then drive to the next 1 and cap that... when what you SHOULD do with a Quad Bike is drive to the ENEMIES Control Points and either cap or prevent them capping it till the rest of your team can back you up.

maybe we could set some kinda fun war thing up between members on here :)

if theres lots interested have it over a few servers and put people into pools or something and they join a certain server when arranged.

also this helps some servers on here and makes for good fun :D

Here's a crazy idea... suck it up. Not everyone wants to play a strategic/tactful game. Not every public server game is a clan match. A lot of people like to just point and shoot and don't actually give a stuffing about strategy.

I'm not one of those, and hopefully never will be, but at least I recognise that when the majority of the server are just playing the simple game of shooting that I, as someone wanting to play a strategic game, am in the minority and any attempts by me to change their mind will just be a woeful rant on the internet.

:

EDIT: Oh and the "basic training" idea stinks. America's Army did it, and it solved nothing but gave everyone a headache as they had to spend a day or two doing arbitrary "training" that everyone just ignored/forgot.

On a different note..

I've got a C2D E6600, 2GB RAM, GTX460 (2GB) and the game stutters. A lot. It's on the lowest settings for everything. In-game ping is circa 250 (I believe it calculates including performance?)

I'm surprised that it stutters as much as it does, I mean.. that's not exactly a pitiful machine, not the best, but far from worst :) Does anyone else experience the same?
