Is there any etiquette to telling a friend they got a **** tattoo?

Offer to sand them off for her if they're that grotesque! Post some pictures up of the tattoos in question so we can have a peek.

I don't think she gives a damn what you think they look like on her. If she did, she would have asked for your opinion prior. So stop being a drama queen because it's not really any of your business what her tattoos look like.

 what is wrong with that one?

No idea who it's supposed to be but it's well done for a portrait.

I've seen lots of pieces of great artwork but that doesn't necessarily mean they work as a tattoo. Personally, the idea of having someone's face tattooed on my leg is not very appealing.

Tell them you don't like it, or continue tucking your dick between your legs. Simple.

What is with all the retarded posts on here lately? Is it because its the holidays and the kids are off or something?

It may not be appealing to you, so you wouldn't have one and that is fair enough. However, whether that portrait you commented on was on skin or on paper, it's still well done.

Her body. I like tramp stamps for some reason (on women :p ), i'm so chavvy :D

Arrrr I hate that saying. Tramp stamp! nothing like a sweeping statement that is completely inaccurate is there?

I can see this thread going the same as every other tattoo related one on here. :(

Well thats what they're generally called no? I don't necessarily think the woman who has one is a tramp. Don't get your knickers in a twist luv.

Are you for real? You read the OP, and I get called retarded, dear god. I think it's retarded that people post such **** as "spec me a torch" and it actually goes into 2 or 3 pages of utter BS.

My post was to the point. You either tell them you don't like it, or you keep your mouth shut. It really is very simple, and hardly requires a thread on the interweb. Friend of mine got a tattoo which was ****, so I told him so. That's what friends are for. If his feelings got hurt, so be it. Don't ask a question if you can't accept the answer.

People inability to make such a basic decision scares me. How the hell do they go through life?

It's about whether something is a good tattoo or not though, not whether it's good artwork, the two are not synonymous.

no good cam come of telling your friend their tatoo looks like ****

its not like they can take it off and change it can they ?

Just don't say anything and say "it's not what i'd have done" if they press you for your opinion.

If that was influenced by that docu film that came out then this guy is the ultimate hipster

Don't be mean about a permanent mark they have had done to their body.

If you are so clued up on the local tattooing scene, why not suggest a few good places to take her to see some new designs next time she wants to get one done?

Then no more rubbish tattoos?

Are you for real? Either discuss the questions posted in the OP and subsequent posts or don't, I was actually interested in generating a discussion. If you think the original post is retarded no one is forcing you to reply at 4.30am. It's not like some of the spec me/what do I do threads in here where the OP clearly has trouble breathing, I was genuinely interested in knowing what some people had done in the past when posed with **** tatts. Now I know that some people are honest despite the permanence of the tattoos and some are kind to avoid hurting their feelings. Neither is right or wrong but there's no harm in discussing it, quit your trolling.
