They spoke on the crimbo specials like he'd never be appearing again, can't find any info on the web if he'll be back.

anyone knows whats going on?
 
In August 2010 the BBC attempted to gain an injunction against Harper Collins to prevent the publication of The Man in the White Suit, the autobiography of the driver playing The Stig. Collins appeared in the High Court as part of the action, which the BBC lost, revealing Collins as the author of the book. The BBC have still refused to confirm whether Collins "either was or remains" the Stig, while presenter James May has stated White Stig will be killed off and replaced for the next series.

he was credited. I'm pretty sure a lot of top gear and 5th gear people get on well. And friendly competition.
 
Could be that German bird Sabin Schmitt. She played the stig when they bought the 3 German saloon cars (M3, Cossie, Merc)

She HAWT! What is it with girls who drive fast? Their all HOT!

Vicky Butler Henderson is hot but has a habit of making an annoying squeaking noise when excited. Can you imagine how noisy she is in bed? Now that's hot!
 
Kind of funny this whole incident. He's kinda blown the whole 'stig' concept out of the water.

They do a Stig 2 and its rather unoriginal. Ideally, they need to find a new concept IMO but that's v.difficult when you need a good driver to hare around a track in the fastest possible time...which is basically Stig 2.

This'll be the 4th incarnation of the Stig IIRC.

Black Stig - Perry McCarthy - Killed off by driving an old Jag laced with Nitrous off an aircraft carier following the publication of his "I am the Stig" book.

White Stig - Ben Collins - Dropped without any theatrics inbetween series following the publication of his "The Man in the White Suite" book.

New Stig - Teaser video a couple of months ago suggested a new White stig, as did the baby Jesus Stig, but nothing really confirmed yet.

Expect a new White Stig, who will stick around untill he/she publishes a book and then get fired. Seems to be the trend :)
 
The whole 'he doesn't say anything and plays Linguaphone CDs' whilst in the car is getting a bit tired though.

For what has always been an amusing, innovative entertainment programme, don't tell me they're going to keep on flogging that horse?
