Does anyone know the bulb type/size for the Xenon headlamps (the dipped beam) of the Mk.2 Focus? I've got a Focus Zetec with Xenons but I believe they are exactly the same headlight assembly as the Focus ST.
Only shows the normal halogen sizes (H7) and my Google searches don't seem to return anything other than people trying to retrofit them to cars. I believe it's a D2S bulb but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Edit: In fact on checking, the only time the handbook mentions the Xenon headlamps are to tell me they can be adjusted from right to left hand drive beam patterns by an expert and that I should take it to an expert to change the bulbs lulz.
I believe that they are either the D1S or D2S lamps, tbh the easiest way to find out and be sure is give your local ford dealer a ring to find out the exact part.
Rather than start a new thread, I searched and found this one.
I have a 2005(Mk 3?) Focus which seems to need a new bulb for the driver's side xenon headlight. As stated by squerble above, the manual says I should consult an 'expert' to have it replaced but I feel capable of changing a bulb myself! Eurocarparts suggests a D1S bulb, at £130 - is this the right one? If so, I'll get a compatible cheapo from eBay as I'm not keeping the car beyond the end of January!
