Glad GTA was so cheap because at no point did it warn me I might as well not buy the game with an ATI card.

I was tempted by this but backed off after reading the forums. A memory leak and/or single core issue can bring the game to it's knees after a couple of hours. One or two argue that changing affinity to another core helps a little as OS mainly uses core 0.
Nothing concrete in terms of a patch either.
why do you say this, ive got a ati card and have played all 3 games fine?
Perhaps I've not lowered the settings enough then (although I did have to use the Steam launch command line fix to even be able to adjust options in the first place) what settings are you using for the game to be playable?![]()
It's completely unplayable for me now, hopefully I just need to recheck my expectations for what level of detail I'll be playing the game with.really that sucks for me too then, whats wrong with it?

Why oh why wont steam let you download whole playing a game? Is there a setting that allows you to not pause the downloads when running another game?
Caved in and bought Oblivion Deluxe for £9.99.
Filthy, greedy *******s.
is anyone else getting slow downloads via steam? just checked my router and my downstream is at 3600kbps which is normal for my 3mb connection but steam is only downloading at 140kb/s
All i wanna do is try left for dead 2 lol

Have you tried changing your download server (Steam -> settings -> Download + cloud)? Generally smaller mainland Europe countries are offering better speeds. Also the Manchester server is better than London from my experience.
