Steam christmas sale 2010... *twitch*

I bought shadow of chernobyl for 75p in GFWL last month so don't know if I should buy the stalker bundle again. I installed the 2009 mod aswell and ity looks fantastic though haven't played it much.
 
bah why does steam download at 250kb/s at this time, yet after midnight or in the morning its 1mb/s+ Im on VM and according to speed test my download speed is 9mb

Well yeah, it is an old series. The Dark Forces games were mid-1990's, and then the later Jedi Knight games was early 2000's on the Quake III engine.

In my view, these are some of the best and classic Star Wars (FPS) games you can ever get for the PC. And Kyle Katarn is one of the best Expanded Universe characters ever.
 
I purchased FarCry 2 when it came out and even then I wouldn't have said it was a waste of money.

If you like games to have an in depth story then it's not for you because that's what it lacks the most. You'll probably get bored after you complete the first area of map (which is 50% of the game) as the next is pretty much the same just with a different landscape.

Ignoring the story line it's a pretty fun game to just go in and blow a load of stuff up. Graphics are great and it's a polished game for just having a bit of fun. It runs well of mediocre handware and I never had a crash when playing.
 
God damn it why did they have to couple napolean with empire total war :mad: Already got empire and it was a pile of poo so dont want it again. Napolean plus expansions is £20 whilst getting it all is £10

On a side note what happens if you buy a game that you already have in your steam list? does it come up twice?

elder scrolls iv: oblivian with all the trimmings for a tenner
super meat boy when it was 2.99
and a few others.

not bad.

They were excellent games, and the saber combat particularly of outcast and academy hasn't been matched since IMO.

I still play academy, mainly for this, which is an extremely addictive team based mod.
 
Anyone here played the "Theate of War 1 & 2" + DLC collection?

I've got enough games to last me next year now:
BF2 - Assassins Creed 2 - BC2 - and the above.

I was gifted BF2 for old times sake by a buddy and it's still a great game. That music bought back memories all the way back to BF1942!

I bought Flight Control HD, mainly because I quite enjoy the iPhone version but it's annoying playing it on a small screen.

Nothing else interests me, again.

Same here. I installed the mod, yeah it looks a bit nicer and stuff but it's still boring :eek: :p

ahh thanks mate :) did a google search before but couldnt get a direct answer. Napolean + expansions has been the deal I have been waiting for so was pretty excited when i saw it just wasnt too sure about buying a pack with a game I already own :confused:
