Steam christmas sale 2010... *twitch*

I think the opposite is true. In that we already own all the games we really want (paying release day prices) and these deals in the main are the "other games" we could live without but will have a pop if it's cheap enough.

I would also add to this that I and others are also buying cheap (sale) games to replace the retail versions we bought just so we can have the convenience of having them on steam :)

bought kane and lynch 2, and i can't really understand why it got so slated. Sure it's an obvious console port (althought it got bad reviews on console too), and the controls/cover system/ AI need some work - but it's a very enjoyable game, the grittyness of it is a nice change from todays flashiness and whatnot, the film-like story and player camera are a really nice effect, the graphics range from average to fantastic, and I'm really looking forward to the arcade/multiplayer modes once I've finished the single player because they really bring something new and interesting to multiplayer shooters. I bought it for a fiver and it's worth it.

A good way to describe it would be Mafia 2's cover/shoot gameplay, for an entire game. If you loved the shooting bits in mafia 2 but felt they were underused, as I did, then you might want to give this a go.

Just noticed that BF:BC2 Vietnam is only £5.59 on EA Store at the moment. Will there be any issues in getting this to work with my Steam copy of BC2?

I wouldn't mind Ruse in a deal...can get the game for around £12 in shops, but still £22 on Steam....c'mon lets have a decent sale tomorrow please :)
