Had a sore jaw lately but i woke up in the night with a terrible pain in my jaw left cheek, kept me up all night. Throb throb throb thus it seems like i have either a wisdom tooth coming through the wrong way or an absis(?). Can't do anything till tuesday  It's swollen and won't stop throbbing with pain, the only thing that helped it was nurofen .Felt like someone punched me in the jaw :(, Not looking for any ideas of what it could be as we don't do health/doctors threads here but sometimes new's/bank holiday can be a pain in the

Anyone else have a crappy start to 2011?

Yeah I had a raging head ache, dry mouth and unsettled tummy...think I know the root cause though. :p

Yea, all the effort I put in last night and I woke up this morning without the slightest hint of a hangover, im gutted!!!

:D

I've had a toothache the last few days but it's just given me even more of an excuse to get **** faced.

Had a stinking hangover (@adamknox).
But other than that is has been ok. Back in my flat from home. Seen some of my friends back in Bristol. Bought some nice green tea.
I'm quite content at the moment thanks :)

I have the exact same but in my right cheek, Only reason I'm still awake now. It is horrid & I just want to sleep but I can't :(

yep had the flu on the 19th of Dec till xmas eve! woke up xmas day with severe toothache, went to hospital at 7am for them to give me some strong painkillers!

xmas day i was in bed all day didn't even eat anything, went emergency dentist boxing day for them to fill it, still in complete agony so went back following day for them to rip it out, ive been on so many different types of painkillers its unreal, today was the first day without em as the healing process is finally starting to work ive not even touched hardly any alcohol expect to numb my mouth or wash it lol!

and this tooth started from about 3 weeks ago when i cleared a ball of the line playing footy on Saturdays and ran into the goal post cracking the side of my jaw :(

i haven't been ill all year and this comes at such a a crap time! :( lol!

When I had the filling fall out of my wisdom tooth on xmas morning last year (not 2010, 2009 lol) the only thing I could do was tank up on painkillers to allow me to eat my xmas dinner... Nurofen Express Liquid were a godsend!! took two, ten mins later I forgot It had fallen out - seriously, that good! :)
