They are [Bronken] and its mostly just random servers that have enough space for however many people are playing. 4 or less it tends to be SQDM but after that its Rush/Conquest. Whats your Soldier name?

I swear shotguns have become the weapon of choice lately in SQDM. Played a couple of rounds, got killed by the odd Neostead and 870 but mostly it seemed half the enemies were wielding Saiga's, some as Recons some as Assaults. Barely seen any LMG spamming Medics today, the only 'noob' setups people were using were 12x scopes with any bolt or semi auto sniper rifle...

Also lots of tank noob comments because people were incapable of blowing up a tank without any repair assistance... I mean seriously it takes 2 AT4s w/ MK2 or a couple of AT Mines in a discrete place or even C4.
 
yeah man, i saw the tickets at 999 but the server was full so i thought meh, ill play :D

game lasted a while though..

i was at the top of my game with my M40.. got quite a few marksman pins :D

really enjoyed it, game was too and from all the time.
 
Hiding in the bush's way up in the mountains, nobody was near me nobody could see me. Suddenly this guy knows exactly where i am, appears out of nowhere tries to shoot me. I stab him TWICE! could even see the blood, one shot i'm dead

Rage Quit, that pi.... me off :mad:
 
Seems my CPU wasn't fried, but that my GFX card needed re-seating and all is working again. Still choppy, but that (I am assuming) is down to the ram and number of textures in this game.

Anywho.. finally gave the spotter gun a go today, it's hilarious to see tank drivers panic when tagged :D

Yeah, I think there is a new wave of hacks. There were a number of people tonight who seemed to have god mode on, and a few clearly botting. Fully auto M60 killing entire team at spawn from B on Atacama desert type stuff.
 
Really like this game in spite of some obvious cheaters. Why cheat you numpty's ?
Can only get 1x anti aliasing on my settings options.
5870, 8Gb ram, i7 860.
Any ideas ?

It only let's me do 1x antialiasing if I am in dx9 mode, however if I put it into dx10 or dx11 I can use all levels of antialiasing.
 
if you dont know how to change your DX mode:

My Documents -> BFBC2 -> Settings.ini

find DxVersion=Auto down the bottom (and because your card supports DX 11) change it to DxVersion=11 save and close.

Thing is i've never seen the like with left 4 dead 2, only battlefield 2 and this BC2. There are too many times you just feel it wasn't possible, unloading a full clip in someones face means, You Die not with BC2 or BF2. Stabbing someone twice doesn't mean they can run away with full health. Hiding in the bush's with full camoflage, without firing a shot doesn't mean you can be found instantly!.

Problem with hiding is its all too easy to be spotted. Either purely by accident, by sensor balls, by someone half the map away seeing you or someone just pointing to the general location and hoping it lights someone up. Practically impossible to really know if someone is actually wall/spothacking.

Knife hitreg is very dodgy sometimes. Mostly when 2 people come at each other at close range while strafing it tends to miss miserably but it does it other times too. I just can't figure out where the hitbox on a player actually is. I'm pretty sure it lags behind them slightly since there are some occasions where i've shotgunned and missed miserably yet the guy dropped dead ><
 
Guys everyone that thinks that VIP kicks are targetted at certain players are wrong, you cant set who it kicks its totally random, the amount of times i have been accussed of kicking peoiple for my vip slot is stupid, there is no option to assign a kick to a certain scoring player or anything.

Well there's no way a cheat can stop you taking damage and you can still spot people through trees without trying on occasion.
