Why is your desk in the kitchen or your fridge freezer in your study/bedroom/whatever* ?

Kitchen Diner.. Convenient spot next to the fridge. Youngest daughter has her comp in the Lounge.. Middle & Eldest daughters have theirs in their bedrooms

I'll have you know that that trackball is about 12 years old and the keyboard must be about the best thing Microsoft has ever created.
It has drank loads of beer & coffee over the years (about 10) .. Biscuit crumbs etc. .. Washed the membrane, reassembled... Never a problem.. The same can't be said of their O/s 's !!

im sure i have a pentium 1 system somewhere with that keyboard
Like everything Compaq from around that time it's nice and heavy which I like. I also like the feel of the keys. That image isn't of mine but its the same model. Mine had a really good clean 3 year ago and has felt perfect since.
