I was the first to get banned and lets face it, what do you expect for posting in a thread that says you'll get banned for posting in it.

I was expecting at least a weeks ban, or being banned until I got in touch.

Even being a loser with 6,000 odd posts, I have plenty of things to get on with.

I think some people need to remember that this forum owes you nothing, and that being able to post is a privilege and not a right.

I think people are over dramatizing this to be honest, I myself was one of the members banned for a short period of time and I'm not whinging about it! There was a clue in Gilly's thread title (Post and get banned), most know he likes his pranks especially the long time posters. I did **** myself a little though when I tried to sign in last night and it said banned permanently or something a long those lines anyway.

Surely a case of a mod doing what he said he would do and the only people banned were those that asked to be by joining in. No abuse of anything there, in fact I dare say if Gilly had said he'd ban people and then didn't you'd moan he'd lied.

Strikes me as somewhat immature of some to then **** and moan afterwards when they asked to be banned in the first place.

On the other side thankfully some took it in the spirit it was intended, got on with life and had a chuckle....

Oh dear. Good thing you weren't a member earlier as we used to bam people for lols, edit posts change sigs and generally be mischievous. It was done occasionally and everyone knew what we were up to and it was just fun silliness.

Some people really take themselves too seriously and have a serious sense of humour failure.
